Hey all, I've been playing around with USB/MIDI mixers recently (going to Ibiza soon and don't want to drag my decks and mixer with me!). I'm running the full edition of Traktor DJ Studio 3 on my Vista laptop, and have been trying to find the best control surface to interface to it. Started off with the new Behringer BCD3000. After much messing around trying to get the ASIO drivers to install properly I finally got it up and running. Note to the developers at Stanton: your Final Scratch uninstall routine is rubbish!!! All sorts of stuff was left over in the Registry which was preventing any further ASIO installation. Once I got everything installed, the Behringer fired up and interfaced to Traktor just beuatifully. Only one problem.. massive audio dropouts every couple of minutes lasting about 10 seconds. This made the product completely unsable. Not much hope of getting help from Behringer either as they officially don't support Vista yet. So, I've moved on to the Hercules Mk 2 controller, which does have Vista support. Will try that tonight. I'm just wondering what solutions others are using? What's your OS? Which DJ software are you using? And which control surface? Had any problems with it? (if money was no object then the delicious Vestax VCI100 would be my choice!). Cheers, Rob
