O Paalanhaare, Nirgun Aur Nyaare
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin
Humri uljhan suljhaao bhagwan
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin
Tumhe humka ho sambhaale
Tumhe hamre rakhwaale
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin
Chanda mein tumhe to bhare ho chaandni
Sooraj mein ujaala tumhe se
Yeh gagan hai magan, tumhe to diye ho isse taare
Bhagwan, yeh jeevan tumhe na sanwaaroge
To kya koi sanwaare
O paalanhaare, nirgun aur nyaare
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin – 2
Jo suno to kahe Prabhuji hamri hai binti
Dukhi jan ko dheeraj do
Haare nahin voh kabhi dukh se
Tum nirbal ko raksha do
Reh paaye nirbal sukh se
Bhakti ko shakti do
Bhakti ko shakti do
Jag ke jo swami ho, itni to araj suno
Hai path mein andhiyaare
Dedo vardaan mein ujiyaare
(O paalanhaare, nirgun aur nyaare
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin
Humri uljhan suljhaao bhagwan
Tumre bin hamra kaunon naahin)

Influence[edit]
This devotional hymn became popular during the life time of Mahatma Gandhi and was rendered as a bhajan in his Sabarmati Ashram by vocalists and instrumentalists like Gotuvadyam Narayana Iyengar. It was popular among freedom fighters throughout India. Often sung by singers since then, it serves as the final song to end a concert and touch music lovers with the philosophical thought of poet Narsinh Mehta.

વૈષ્ણવ જન તો તેને કહિયે | वैष्णव जन तो तेने कहिये | vaiṣṇava jana to tene kahiye | Call those people Vaishnav who |
સકળ લોકમાં સહુને વંદે, | सकळ लोकमां सहुने वंदे, | sakaḷa loka māṁ sahune vande, | They respect the entire world, |
સમદૃષ્ટિ ને તૃષ્ણા ત્યાગી | समदृष्टि ने तृष्णा त्यागी, | sama-dṛṣṭi ne tṛṣṇā tyāgī, | They see all equally, renounce craving, |
મોહ માયા વ્યાપે નહિ જેને, | मोह माया व्यापे नहि जेने, | moha māyā vyāpe nahi jene, | They do not succumb to worldly attachments, |
વણ લોભી ને કપટ રહિત છે, | वणलोभी ने कपटरहित छे, | vaṇa-lobhī ne kapaṭa-rahita che, | They have forsaken greed and deceit, |
