Purpose

Overview

This document states how to generate a license standalone seat un-served, type floating for PowerDesigner 16.5.

Follow the steps:

1- Steps Key in SAP Service Market Place > Support Portal

2- In the license page select FL license and click on ‘Generate’.

3- Select ‘Un-served’ License and click next.

4- Enter a Quantity, then click next.

5- Enter the Host ID and Host name

6- Click on button ‘Generate’ to create the license file and download it.

7- From PowerDesigner select > Menu ‘Tools’ > License Paramenters.

8- Select the option ‘Standalone Seat – Local License’.

9- Click Next, and in the next step load the un-served floating license that was generated in step 6.
